Two clinical studies have been carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of Brainberry® Aronia.
The first, in 2022, an open clinical study was carried out on a group of 35 professional basketball players (men and women). For 7 days, the athletes took 65 mg of BRAINBERRY®.
The results showed an improvement in cognitive functions, including attention, responsiveness and coordination. The data also indicated specific improvement in basketball-related cognitive abilities, such as shooting, dribbling and rebounding. Additionally, taking BRAINBERRY® had no negative effect on sleep quality.*
The second, more recent, clinical study on the ingredient BRAINBERRY® was conducted on 96 volunteers over a period of 12 weeks. These participants consumed 65 mg of BRAINBERRY® and were evaluated after these 12 weeks using three cognitive performance tests: concentration/attention (Fig.1), psychomotor speed (Fig.2) and mental flexibility (Fig. 3).
The results revealed a significant improvement of +43% in concentration/attention (Strike-out test), an improvement of +5.8% in psychomotor speed (Grooved pegboard test) as well as an improvement in +17% in mental flexibility (Stroop test) after this 12-week period.**
